Now you guys have fun with this reworked wallpaper. I was never more happy to talk to a NPC like in Dead Space, even if it was just for a minute. The fear of being all by yourself was just insane in this game. Man, i tell you now i´m in the mood to buy me a Steam copy of this outstanding example of pure interactive sci-fi-horror so that bricks will be ♥♥♥♥ once more. I retextured the whole model to make it look like this cold, dirty, necromorph-infested hellhole it was and made a smooth animation out of it combined with Wallpaper Engine particles that look like constant explosions on every deck that could tear the ship apart every minute. Then i watched the wallpaper.for hours.and still felt there is something missing but thanks to science and magic i got my hands on some older 3D model of the USG Ishimura. So i created a rotating galaxy cluster on the right side and a bright quasar, with a gravitiy so huge that it sucks in other stars, on the other side. After that i wanted to bring the background a bit more to live because it always looked kinda like dead space to me, you know (pun intended :-D ). I mainly wanted to change two things: first of all Isaacs helmet should look way more badass than it already was with fog coming out on the left side where it looks cold and some flames and glowing on the hot right side.
After two years+ since the initial release of one of my favorite wallpapers i decided too show this beauty a lot more love.
